A rather significant aspect of his childhood was his ability to show exceptional stupidity. A particular time, his father asked him to go bargain for a horse, on getting there he said, "My father says I may offer you 20 dollars for the colt, but if you won't take it I am to offer 22 1/2 dollars and if u won't take that am to offer 25 dollars"... This is the inspiring story of a man who went from being called "USELESS" to being called the "18th President of the United States"

Life After University…
I think everyone has the fear of the unknown but how we handle it might just be different as individuals.Abudu Sufian
I have my doubts about the future. Despite that, I’m looking forward to it with so much anxiety that I think is unhealthy.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: My name is Olufunke. Welcome to the Life after University Series. Could you please introduce yourself?
ABUDU SUFIAN: My name is Abudu Sufian. A Student of Crescent University, Abeokuta. I am majoring in Economics and Operations Research.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: OK… Why that course of study?
ABUDU SUFIAN: I have always had a passion for Economics as a Secondary school subject, subsequently the interest transformed into my course of study.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: How was integrating into the university for you? Were you intoxicated by the freedom?
ABUDU SUFIAN: Secondary school was quite rough, so transiting into university wasn’t exactly tough. I was free of course but I knew what I wanted.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: Do you have any other thing you are engaged in, apart from the regular school stuff?
ABUDU SUFIAN: Nothing really, I played football. I was always going out just to get a clear head out of school.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: How has the last phase being for you?
ABUDU SUFIAN: The last phase is stressful. The project aspect of it isn’t funny at all, with many inconsiderate supervisors. The anxiety of failing and having an extra year is not making it less agonizing.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: I can relate with that, it can be as scary as hell. When you think of life after university, does it scare you?
ABUDU SUFIAN: I think everyone has the fear of the unknown but how we handle it might just be different as individuals.
I personally have my doubts about the future. Despite that, I’m looking forward to it with so much anxiety that I think is unhealthy.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: What are your plans for life after University?
ABUDU SUFIAN: More schooling I suppose.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: Do you think the past four years in the University has prepared you well enough for what lies ahead?
ABUDU SUFIAN: The past four years in University has helped me realize what matters and I think I can say I’m sufficiently informed to cater for what lies ahead.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
ABUDU SUFIAN: I can’t say much about that for now. Come back and check in the next five years and I will be able to tell you.
MORONFOLU OLUFUNKE: Do you have any advice for final year students?
ABUDU SUFIAN: I would advise them to have fun while doing what they do best.
Try not to pressure yourself and put your faith in God, It is all going to be fine.
